Bihar Innovation Forum is a one of a kind platform that aims to identify, celebrate and scale up rural livelihood innovations. It is an initiative of the Government of Bihar supported by the World Bank and implemented by the Bihar Rural Livelihoods Promotion Society (JEEViKA) in collaboration with the State Innovation Council.
The story of innovation started with building an online system to accept proposals from public, private and civil society organizations that can make a difference in various livelihood themes of rural poor of Bihar. A solid and robust web portal was built to accept online registrations from pan-India basis and fill the multi-page questionnaire in support to their idea of innovations.
As on Jan 31st, 2014, winners were awarded by Honorable Chief Minister of Bihar, Shri Nitish Kumar for their innovative ideas.
Technically, at Kenovate Solutions, a dynamic CMS system web portal was built with the facility to let the team update the content which includes updating Page contents, Events, News, Press releases, Photo gallery, Blog and online registration along with step wise application filling-up process. Complete facility for administrators to check online registrations and their respective application forms along with options to view / download the PDF version.
